Canvases

A canvas is the basis for displaying and organizing content such as images, videos, documents, and so on in Canvus. A single Canvus installation can support multiple canvases. Each canvas is large and extends well beyond the physical screen area.

Canvus supports to types of canvases: local and shared.

• Local canvases are saved on the local computer in Canvus client. They can only be viewed locally; they are not available to users running Canvus on a remote video wall or a remote computer.
• Shared canvases are saved on the Canvus Connect server and are available to any Canvus client with a connection to the server. This allows remote users in multiple locations to view and interact with the same shared canvas concurrently.
