Codice cards

Codice server enables certain additional functionality using MultiTaction fiducial markers on MultiTaction displays. The Codice server allows registering individual Codice cards for the following functionality:

  • Canvas card - the card will open a specific canvas when placed on screen
  • Codice folder card - the card will open a specific folder when placed on screen

Registering a Codice card

Follow these steps:

  1. Open a canvas.
  2. Hold the Codice card you want to use against the screen.
  3. Canvus detects the Codice card and displays a registration dialog.
  4. Follow the instructions in the registration dialog.

Note

Each canvas can only have one canvas card associated with it. When you register a canvas card, any existing canvas cards are automatically unregistered.

Unregistering a Codice card

You can unregister a canvas card, for example, to re-assign the card to another purpose.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the canvas currently associated with the Codice card.
  2. Open the settings menu
  3. Tap the Codice button in the canvas-settings
  4. Tap the Remove button

Note

It is not possible to unregister Codice folder cards.
