Client installation

This section describes how to install Canvus client for the first time. If you are updating from a previous version, see updating-client.

Briefly, setting up Canvus client involves the following steps:

1. Install Canvus client: You can install a Canvus client on a Windows or Linux host computer. See instructions for Windows or Linux.
2. Start the Canvus client: See starting or stopping the client on Windows or Linux.
3. Activate your license: After installing your Canvus client, you must obtain a license activation key from MultiTaction and activate your license. See client-licensing.
