Rendering to multiple displays

Interactive content is not limited to being displayed on a single screen or dual-monitor setups. Real-time interactive content can be rendered through multiple simultaneous displays to cover large interactive surfaces. This includes systems constructed from multiple adjacent physical screens, such as video walls, setups with multiple video projectors or LED walls or combinations of these technologies.

Canvus supports these use cases by being able to utilize multiple GPUs in parallel with flexible configuration that supports a large number of screens in any relative orientation.

Note

The configuration described in this section is aimed at a dedicated PC controlling a video wall. The configuration tries to maximize the performance on a large interactive surface. The assumption is that these PCs are not used to run regular desktop applications.

The documentation in this section assumes you are using Nvidia professional graphics cards.
