Architecture

The MT Showcase architecture consists of a client-server model running on an application computer connected to MultiTaction Cells.

Key components:

  1. Application computer --- External computer running MT Showcase with video connections to each Cell
  2. MT Showcase server --- Supplies the client with data to display apps
  3. MT Showcase client --- Displays content and handles touch events
  4. MT Showcase Editor --- Web-based tool for creating custom apps
  5. Asset store --- Contains the media library (images, movies, PDFs)
  6. Application database --- Contains apps, structures, themes, and content sets
  7. Reporting database --- Contains content usage data from Data Gathering
